Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. She is similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she loves dumb action films. Her reviews started in late 2009; following her rise to fame (under her old name, Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of the family at Channel Awesome. In early 2015, she stayed on the channel when Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. Additionally, she hosts two podcasts on her channel that both cover the Charmed series and co-hosted together with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Her name gained lots in popularity thanks to her participation in the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of the family. She's been featured on many Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as and Phelous & the Movies. Doug Walker and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently be featured in shows like Nostalgia Critic.
