Anita Barone

Barone was a character in Gail Cunningham (a chef) in The Shoes of Seinfeld, the episode from season 4. She was in Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was also a part-time cast member of Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone also played the ex-wife of Geller's character, Carol Willick, in the character's first appearance in Friends. Jane Sibbett was her replacement following Barone's departure from Friends in pursuit of a new role that demanded additional time. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the beginning of its run (1995-1996) as well as in The War at Home between 2005 until the year 2007. Barone played co-star alongside Daddio in the year 2000. Her other TV credits include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthuasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004, Barone was awarded her 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in the movie One Last Ride. In 2010 three years since The War at Home ended it's running time, Barone began her recurring role on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred in the role of J.J. Jones in two episodes.
